Ah... Blogging again. Hahax. Life has been tough these days. Ok, maybe not. It just seems tough when you are emo-ing all day. It's strange that when people ask me if I'm fine, I actually feel fine at that time & hence answer that I'm fine. But the fact is that after a while, I start to feel emo again, like everything around me seems wrong.
It seems only recently that everyone asks me if I am alright with the way things are in my life now & if I'm alright not looking for the other half. I always say I'm alright but then after a while, it kind of sinks in that I'm still alone & then the whole panicking over dying as a spinster starts all over again. (Hahax. I'm exaggerating when I said the spinster-my-whole-life part.) I like being single. But I like being in love too. It's just a little unfortunate that I've got no one to love... Except my family & friends.
I've always dreamt that being in love would be a very fun thing but I guess recently, because of all those negative heartbreaks that I've heard about marriage being ruined because of affairs that I'm losing faith in love. I am afraid of what happens if I'm not loving enough, or if I love more than the other. Would my heart be broken? Of course, the occasional paranoia of not being able to find a decent guy around happens but again, the emphasis on occasional. I'm the kind that just wants to find someone naturally but at the same time, I'm kind of impatient sometimes. Lolx.
Ah... Emo emo emo... I've got to snap out of my self-pitying! My new year's resolution was to let nature take its course on such matters so no point wallowing in self-pity over the lack of luck in the romance area.

Valentine's Day. Firstly, thank you to all the student councillors who helped out in this event, making it quite successful. Secondly, Gee, Ying Hui and Bev!!! I miss you guys already!!! When are we going to meet up again??? Trish too!

The flowers for my classmates. Some of them are from students in YJC and others are sent from other schools.

The notice board!!! Thank you, Jie Ying, for designing it. I love it! It was quite a success too! At the end of the day, there are already so many dedications on it!

This is Shaune's bouquet of roses. He's our biggest client with the purchase of 40 roses for his gf!

This is the side view of the roses. It was wrapped up by the student council. Hahax!

My favourite picture of that day of Ah Dok and her gifts on V-day. See how surprised she looks with this photo secretly taken by Jocelyn?

This song just states the state of my mind.
When The Rain Falls
I don't understand
this should be so easy
to just reach out my hand
and know the world is real
but nothings as it seems
now I can tell you freely
touching's not the only way to feel
(Chorus:)
When the rain falls
it's like heavens crying
when the names all
the difference that there is
cause tears are
the same when they are trying to grow
something good out of all the pain
hey
there's no difference between the teardrops and the rain
I know you probably say
that I'm just talking crazy
to think of life that way
means that I'm confused
There's happy and there's sad,
but maybe, yes, just maybe,
the sadness can make the happiness more true
(Chorus once)
Because I know the boths are nessasary,
I don't let it bother me at all
(Chorus once)

Ok, today was sort of family day. We went for Dim Sum in the morning. (Haven't had one in a very long time!) It was kind of fun pigging out with my family, especially when our parents said that it was ok to order whatever we wanted and we still managed to finish it all. Lolx!
Anyway, we were eating when I noticed almost every table having handphones on the table. It was kind of ineresting and soon, our table was discussing about the importance of a handphone in today's society.
This is a list that I came up with.
IMPORTANCE OF A MOBILE PHONE DURING DIM SUM

- To create a scene when your phone starts blaring music and you don't know how to shut it off.
- To take pictures of your yummy food and make your friends jealous by showing them the picture. (Hahax! Just joking!)

- To sms when you are bored. (Though I see no point in my case since we're all having fun.)
- To play games with and ignore your elders. (Hahax! Kidding! But that was what one small boy was doing, except he was more updated. He was playing games on his PSP! Lucky kid! Lolx!)
Anyway, my conclusion (Ok, influenced by my eldest sister.), mobile phones are essential in our lives. (At least they are more essential for our daily lives other than for Dim Sum. Lolx!)
