Firstly, before I start on my new post, I'll like to remind people reading my blog not, I repeat NOT, to make false accusations on my blog! Seriously, it's miseading to the other readers and I do not wish to address such insignificant matters.
Ok, back to my post. This friday, aka yesterday, we (yjc choir) went to a recording studio to record the school song. seriously, the corridor looked like a hospital but the inside of the recording room looked fabulous! They had the room designed so artistically. Almost every corner of the room had a different kind of design! (One of the wall looked suspiciously like the one I saw in the breaking free asian music video! Hmmm...) It looked really cool with the glass window, showing the editing room just next door. They had this recording sign above the window. We all thought that it would glow red when recording, but apparntly, it was just a sign, nothing more.
Anyway, I found the whole recording process tiring but fun. We had to sing again and again. There were mikes in front of us. I could practically imagine how professional singers sang in te recrding studio. As the studio was booked by the minute, we all had to be in our best. (Super expensive! It alogether amounted to over $500 just for 3 hours!) Every few times we sang, they would play what we just sang to us through a speaker so that we could hear ourselves. We were quite critical with our songs and comented alot on how terrible some parts of the song sounded. Lolx!
We finished recording at around 6 plus and thr teachers went to edit our songs. I heard that they would receive a copy of the school song by that day. So cool! I can't wait to hear it on hursday during assembly.Lolx! Omg! I think that it's super cool that I have such a experience of actually being in a recording studio! Well, Beverly should be able to experience it soon! Hahax! Our future singing sensation! Lolx!
I managed to get a few shot of the studio. Super cool, again I repeat! Lolx! I'll most probably be posting it the next time I blog. Hahax! Other than that, toodles!
