Ok, I know that I haven't updated for quite a while. I've been busy with school, epecially Preliminary Ideas(PI)! Thank god that it is now allover! However, it's break for 2 ays and back to Project Work(PW) again. By 10th May, All YJC PW grops will have to hand in our Group Project Proposal(GPP). Yes, everybody. This means that we'll have to 'chiong' once more for PW again.
Ok, on the bright side now. My class, 107,celebrated 6 people's birthday on Wednesday. They are Lei Nuo, Atiqah, Yan Han, Soun Ha, Abigail and Hsu Thar. Only Atiqah, Yan Han, Abigail and Hsu Thar's birthday falls in March. We also celebrated Lei Nuo and Soun Ha's birthday as we missed their birthdays as they were in January and March respectively. Anyway, we finally bought a cake from Prima Deli, which sells Halal cakes. (Atiqah's Halal.)

Hahax! Yes, to most of you out there in YJC, fresh news! Well, today when Abigail and I were on our way ot of school, a girl approached us to ask for direcions to Yishun mrt. Since I was also heading that direction, I asked her to follow me there.
We were walking together to the mrt when on the way, I managed to find out that she was called Veenee and she was from Malaysia. She'll be starting school on Thursday. Yup, fellow science students, a new member to join us in the science course! And yes, Nisha, a new companion for you in your malay class. She'll have some difficulties adapting to our lessons though since she had been studying in Malaysia with her subjects all taught in malay up till now. Therefore, fellow YJCians, please give her all the help that she needs.
Lastly in this post, Geena, Ying Hui, Beverly and Mavis! I miss you guys and hope we can get together soon to catch up on one another's news and go shopping together once more!

Hmmm... I never knew that I was that musically inclined. Seriously, I just like to listen to musics but I don't really consider myself good in it. If you want to know musically talented people, you can look for Beverly! She's currently learning singing too so you can expect even more improvements in her already beautiful voice. Hahax!
Anyway, Friday was the Parent-Teacher Dialogue session. For our class, only Jason, Anita and Yan Han's parents turned up to see Miss Phoon, our CT. My parents had over commitments on that day so they couldn't make it. The whole hall was flooded with teachers and parents and the response for buffet this time was so much better than the Parent-Teacher Dialogue session held in the first 3 months! For the one held in the first 3 months, there was a lot of remaining food and the teachers told (threatened) us student helpers to finish it or we are not allowed to go home! Hahax. This time, the food finished very quickly and so the teachers need not force us to finish it before leaving for home.
When the table for 107 students' parents was cleared, Lynnette, KT, Hak Yong, Jason and I sat there with Miss Phoon for our own mini "Student-Teacher Dialogue session". Hahax. Jason and Hak Yong left early and the rest of us chatted till the teachers "chased" us away. We ended the dialogue session with better understanding of one another and me with a sold choir ticket to Miss Phoon! Lolx!

Whew! It's definitely no joke when people say that JC life is alot tougher than Seconary school! Seriously, even thoughwe take fewer subjests as compared to secndary school, these subjects have a lot more topics than seondary school and is definitely more in detail. There'a chemistry test next week! AHHH!!!
I miss the relaxing seondary schoo life we had as compared to now. However, after hearing a story from my elder sister who heard it from an anime, it has taught me to look ahead and move on in life. (Hahax! Who says that you cannt learn values from animes?)
The story(I'm not sure of the exact story but at least it's something like this.):
2 boys came from the same orphanage. In the orphanage, there was particular picture that they both like. The picture was of a girl holding an umbrella. It was such a masterpiece that when both boys left the orphanage, they still remembered that picture. Both boys grew up into young men and one day, they met each other again. They started to chat about their lives together in the orphanage. As they continued talking, they started to talk about the picture. One of them complimented the picture and mentioned that the girl 's dress in the picture was red. However, the other boy insisted that the colour of the dress was blue. Both boys argued about the colour of the dress and finally decided to return to the orphanage to see the colour of the dress. When both boys reurned, they realised that the painting was in black and white and therefore the dress was black in colour.
The moral of the story of course is not easy to comprehend. In this story, the painting represents our memories. The boys remembering the painting as coloured is just like us people who tend to glorify our past and remember it as a better period of time than the present. Thought provoking? I'll leave it to you to decide on how else you would like to interpret it.
